Compassionate Financial Coaching

for folks who want to build a better future

Life is throwing you curveball after curveball, and you just can’t seem to get ahead financially.

Up to this point, trying to manage your money has left you feeling powerless and unprepared to face the future with the confidence that you’ll make it through.

  • Maybe you’ve tried different solutions before.

  • You’ve listened to a finance podcast.

  • You’ve read articles online about money management tips.

  • You might have even hired a ‘financial consultant’ who claimed to offer credit repair assistance.

You deserve better, friend.

You deserve access to the education you need to get ahead financially.

You deserve to reclaim power over your financial journey.

And sometimes, you need a partner — a true partner — to help you get from financially stressed to financial empowerment.

Hi there, I’m Landra.

A financial coach who understands real challenges and offers tailored assistance to help you on your financial journey.

For over 10 years, I’ve worked in nonprofits to help folks take greater control over their financial journeys.

This is what I’ve learned:

  • Free financial education and resources are abundant.

  • But most of it doesn’t account for the real challenges and barriers people are facing with their money. It can be incredibly tough to apply free financial education to your own situation.

It can be incredibly tough to apply free financial education to your own situation.

Sometimes, you need a partner who can listen to your situation — and your unique challenges — to help you spot the right path forward for you.

That’s where I come in.

I listen — really listen — to my clients tell me about their lives, their challenges, and their desires.

I offer a safe space to let your guard down and share everything you need to about your financial situation.

And in that safe space, I can offer personalized guidance to help you identify:

  • What you have control over

  • What you don’t have control over

  • What’s holding you back

  • How you can meaningfully move forward

How to Work With Me

My Money Motto is a financial coaching practice I started with a non-profit heart. I know what it’s like to lack information and not know who to trust when it comes to managing your money. So I designed a program to help you move from feeling powerless over your finances to making informed decisions that move you forward.

Step 1: Schedule a Discovery Call

During this free call, we’ll spend 15 minutes getting to know each other. You’ll have a chance to share what’s going on financially. And I’ll share more about what I do and how I think I can help you.

Step 2: Begin Work Together

If we mutually agree that we’re a good fit, I’ll invite you to work one-on-one with me as your financial coach for 3 months.(That’s 2 60-minute sessions per month!)

3 months is typically the minimum amount of time we need to effectively dive into your situation and make progress.

During our sessions, we’ll work on the money challenges you’ve identified.

I’ll offer guidance and teach you about concepts, tools, and techniques that you can implement to make meaningful financial changes.

In between our sessions, you’ll put into practice what we’ve discussed and keep track of what’s going on financially.

Your Investment

The initial 3-month program costs $900 total.

Need financial coaching but can’t afford the cost?

Ask me about my sliding scale option!

Ready to write your Money Motto?

What is a Money Motto?

A Money Motto is a guiding principle or belief you have around money.

We all have Money Mottos — even if we’re not aware of them.

Our Money Mottos — or the beliefs we have around money — directly influence the decisions we make with our money every day.

And if we don’t take the time to look into them, our built-in Money Mottos can be harmful. But if you can understand your Money Motto, you’re better equipped to make changes to it so that you can take control. Rather than letting your Money Motto control you, you rewrite your Money Motto into something more powerful. Once you rewrite your Money Motto, you’re more likely to adopt and stick to healthy money habits.

Wondering what it’s like to work with me?

Here’s what one of my non-profit colleagues had to say:

“For Nearly a decade.... I have had the privilege of working alongside Landra, a financial educator and coach who has a skill for empowering people to take control of their finances.

What truly sets her apart is her tailored approach: She does not just offer one-size-fits all solutions, but takes the time to understand her clients' unique situations and needs, then formulates a personalized plan that will help her clients.

Importantly too, she creates a supportive and encouraging environment, free from judgment. Like a skilled coach, she celebrates all of your progress, big or small.”

Wondering what it’s like to work with me?

Here’s what one of my non-profit colleagues had to say:

"I worked with Landra for years to support East Portland families and youth with their financial goals and can confidently say she just gets it-- what reality is right now for folks; how much bureaucracy, hypocrisy, and discrimination someone might need to wade through; and what skills it takes to persevere and achieve a financial outcome.

Landra has put in the time, in addition to extensive schooling, to know how to meet people where they're at and stay with them through the process — and she's truly in it for her clients.

She brings lived experience, compassion, patience, humor, and curiosity to the financial journeys she works with, which is crucial for navigating a field that is constantly changing and uniquely engaging each person differently. I have seen Landra go the extra mile so many times for her clients and colleagues, especially when life deals the financially unexpected.

Landra Glover has been invested in supporting her community members here for decades, and I can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for financial support, education, and partnership."
